Beam explains that he remembers the Originators perfectly well
"Then, do you remember the Originators?" asked Ariela.
"Of course," replied Beam. "It has simply been expedient for my idiot savant alter ego not to remember."
"What can you tell us of them?"
"Well, for one thing, they weren't called the Originators," said Beam. "That name came along later -- by my prompting, of course. Their name for themselves was A'akapiei'ida." He grinned. "You will not be surprised to learn this was their word for 'people'."
(for indexing purposes: Aakapieiida)
Wolff explains the Biden timeline to Yuz8!rfk
“There was one timeline we had to lock out,” said Wolff.
“Ah?” replied Yuz8!rfk, intrigued.
“Yes,” nodded Wolff. “We ran across a cotemporal line where Earth was pretty much nothing but a desolation, and the people who were left had reverted to barbarism. It was a fairly modern society that had effectively crashed and burned, and we wanted to know why. So we backed up the timeline until we reached the events that had led to that, and found out a stolen presidential election in our country only a couple of decades before had been the tipping point for an apocalypse. We had come back from the year 2044 to the election year of 2020, when one of the parties managed to throw an election with the help of the Chinese government. By 2025, the national capital and several other major cities were smoking ruins, and several large metropolitan areas in China had been wiped off the planet with nuclear weapons. The rest of the world just crashed and burned after that.” Wolff looked solemn. “And it took only twenty years.”
“But not due to interference by other intertemporal travelers?”
“We don’t believe so. There was an attempt to do something similar in our own timeline in 2020, but it was thwarted when the President ordered all balloting was to be done in person and by paper ballot. Certain computerized voting machines were then seized in various states, and it was discovered they had been programmed to alter some votes in favor of the out-of-power party. There was no real proof of who’d done that, though the Chinese were suspected, and the investigation pretty much petered out after that.” Wolff grinned, and continued, “But that was pretty much the end of the out-of-power party, afterwards. There was a fair amount of political shifting, but our governments since then have been, by-and-large, conservative in nature.”
“And of course the Chinese couldn’t stop meddling,” Von Barronov took up the story, “and they were dealt with quite firmly about sixteen years later.”
Yuz8!rfk considered. “You humans are harsh, but fair. I like that.”
Note: This timeline is later identified as Timeline 240 Left Supra 2 (The Cross-Time Kamaitachi, p. 5).

"Yeah." Karla sighed. "See tall, dark, and pointlessly brooding over there? He's my boyfriend. I have no idea why."
