Standalones

These are standalone things I’ve published.

The Invasion Came In Waves was my first real attempt to write a very short story that had a beginning, a middle, and an end, without going off into the giggleweeds of exposition to which I am, sadly, prone.  Insofar as it has an end.  I was trying for the “short short” pattern the old pulps used to solicit.  I think this did a fair to middlin’ job of fitting that pattern.  It’s available on Amazon for 99 cents (the least Amazon will let you charge for an e-book), but I’ve also made it available for download here on the site.

AI 愛 Is Love is the answer to the question of “how many AI images can one man make that look like his wife and then post them to a Discord group before people get sick and tired of them?”  The answer appears to have been a lot more than I figured.  This book contains most of the ones I generated for that project.  It was truly a labor of love on my part.

Footprints is a short/light novel I wrote in 1984 as a prequel to a novel series I later abandoned.  I’d say it was a creative writing class project but, though it was written about the same time I took that class in college, it wasn’t.  (The instructor took a dim view of Science Fiction.  Oh well.)  Sadly, it’s not quite the quality of my writing 40 years later…which is why, of all of my books, it’s probably one that will stay in Kindle Unlimited forever 🙂  And you should be GLAD I didn’t continue the novel series…it sucked.  But I’ve always liked this story, so there it is.
