The M12 Harbinger Machine Pistol, with standard and extended magazines.

The M12 Harbinger Machine Pistol is a .45 ACP select-fire machine pistol which can be used to fire single shots, three-round bursts, or full-auto.

It was invented by Gunnery Sergeant Norman Harbinger (thus its name) around the turn of the 22nd century for use by Space Force Marines special operations teams, later known as Fire Teams (Special Assignments), or FTSA for short.

It can fire .45 ACP FMJ, JHP, and special frangible and explosive loads made exclusively for it. (Do not try to fire the last from an M1911. You have been warned.)

Standard magazines hold 30 cartridges each. Extended magazines hold 45 cartridges each.
