The Great Mage of Mountains and Forests is one of the Great Mages of Antiquity. She is an elf named Sanzuki, and from time to time she is a professor at the University of Magic at Mahoumachi. Like Mitsuko, the Great Mage of the South, she is probably over 4,000 years old. She was present when Mitsuko sealed the agreement between the Church of the Blessed Goddess Eireala and the Demon Lord about 2,500 years ago.
